Airport Advisory Board

Composition
Seven (7) Council-appointed citizens serving staggered three-year terms.
Meeting time
Second Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Purpose
The Airport Advisory Board advises the Page City Council on matters related to the safe and efficient operation, management, and maintenance of the municipal airport. The Board provides recommendations on airport rules and regulations, building sites, structures, and other matters consistent with state and federal aviation requirements.

Board Of Adjustment

Composition
Five (5) Council-appointed citizens serving staggered three-year terms, pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-462.06.

Purpose

The Board carries out the responsibilities and duties established under A.R.S. § 9-462.06.

Library Advisory Board

Composition
Seven (7) Council-appointed citizens serving staggered three-year terms.
Meeting time
Third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Page Public Library
Purpose
The Library Advisory Board advises the Page City Council on matters related to the operation and programming of the Page Public Library.

Page Utility Enterprises Board

Composition
Six (6) members who are residents of the City of Page. Five members are Council-appointed by Resolution and serve staggered five-year terms. The sixth member is the Mayor or designee, who serves as an ex officio member.

Location
Page Utility Enterprises (PUE) Board Room
Purpose
The Page Electric Utility Board oversees the operation of the Page Electric Utility as an independent body established by Ordinance No. 447-03. The Board appoints the General Manager and recommends utility rates, fees, and charges for City Council approval.

Parks and Recreation Advisory Board

Composition
Seven (7) Council-appointed citizens serving staggered three-year terms.

First Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Purpose
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board advises the Page City Council on the operation, maintenance, promotion, and improvement of the parks, recreation facilities, playgrounds, trails, and sports fields.

Planning and Zoning Commission

Composition
Seven (7) Council-appointed citizens serving staggered three-year terms.

First Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
Location
Council Chambers
Purpose
The Planning and Zoning Commission advises the Page City Council on planning and development matters, including the General Plan, development regulations and proposals, ordinance and policy changes, capital improvements, boundary changes, and development-related fees. The Commission also conducts public hearings and meetings as required.

Public Safety Retirement Board – Police and Fire

Composition
Five (5) members serving pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-847.
Meeting time
Meets as needed.

Purpose
The Board carries out the responsibilities and duties established under A.R.S. § 38-847, as amended from time to time.

Economic Development Advisory Board

Composition
Seven (7) Council-appointed citizens serving staggered three-year terms.
Meeting time
Fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Purpose
The Economic Development Advisory Board will act in an advisory and review capacity to the City Council regarding economic development, tourism, and marketing.

Youth Advisory Commission

Composition
Seven (7) City Council-appointed members who are actively enrolled students in grades 9–12 at a public, private, charter, or home school in the City of Page.
Meeting time
Third Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m.
Location
Pera Club
Purpose
The Youth Advisory Commission represents and advocates for Page youth by advising on youth-related issues, recommending improvements to the Parks and Recreation Board and assisting with the planning of youth and recreation activities and events.

Substance Abuse Task Force

Composition
Seven (7) Council-appointed citizens serving staggered four-year terms.
Meeting time
Third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Purpose
This Advisory Board promotes the health and well-being of Page residents by coordinating efforts to establish and strengthen community programs focused on reducing and preventing substance abuse.
