City Clerk's Office
The City Clerk’s Office provides access to public records and responds to requests for public information. The City Clerk’s Office is also responsible for providing administrative and support services to the Mayor and City Council; organizing, disseminating, archiving, maintaining, storing, and securing all official city records and documents in a systematic and easily accessible manner to preserve and protect the City’s history; preparing City Council Meeting and Work Session Agendas, posting, publishing, and recording all official actions of the City Council; maintaining the City Code of the City of Page; conducting and overseeing municipal election processes; and providing support systems for these functions.
Public Records Request Fees
Public records requests are subject to the City’s current Consolidated Fee Schedule. Charges may apply for copies, electronic media, postage, extensive use of staff time, or other costs associated with locating, reviewing, and producing records, as permitted by Arizona law and City policy.
If applicable, requestors will be notified of any estimated fees before records are provided. Payment of all applicable fees may be required prior to the release of the requested records.
Commercial Purpose Requests
Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes § 39-121.03, requests made for a commercial purpose are subject to additional requirements and fees. A person requesting public records for a commercial purpose must disclose the commercial purpose of the request. The City may charge a fee that includes the cost of obtaining the records, including staff time, copies, reproduction, and other expenses incurred in responding to the request, as authorized by law.
Failure to accurately disclose a commercial purpose may result in legal remedies and penalties as provided by Arizona law.
