Page City Council approved the purchase of a new gurney for the Page Fire Department during the City Council Meeting on February 28, 2024.
The Page Fire Department currently has three manual gurneys in active ambulances and
requested for an upgrade to an existing mechanical style gurney with a power gurney in efforts to reduce staff back injuries and reduce workforce needed to manage patients while loading them into an ambulance.
Page City Council also approved the purchase of four fastener systems for three active
ambulances in the Page Fire Department. This purchase is for a universal mounting system that provides a more secure attachment of a gurney inside an ambulance.
