How much is a vendors permit? How do I go about getting one? And where do I go to get one?

There are different types of vendors.  If a vendor wants to set up at one of the events put on by the city it is on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee. Contact the events department 928-645-4201.

Please note that all food and beverage vendors must have the appropriate permits issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services. These permit are not issued by the City of Page, but you can find detailed food handling and permit information on their official website here: azdhs.gov

A vendor who wants to be set up year round would require a temporary use permit  with a fee of $50.00 annually.  Go to the city’s website at cityofpage.org/departments/planning-zoning/ to fill out an application or come to city hall to get a check list and fill out an application.  928-645-4263.

The outdoor market on Elm St. does not require any application.  It is the second and fourth Saturday of the month.  Set up is at 7:00 a.m.

Will the city ever consider having a public indoor/outdoor pool? The lake is too low for some elderly/children to walk to.

The city has been working on both a splash-pad and a swimming pool for a couple of years. Currently the splash-pad is out for design and the swimming pool is in the early planning stages. The City Council did budget for a swimming pool in this year’s budget though.

How can I easily find parcel numbers? At one time city agenda/minutes gave locations that regular folks could identify.

The only way an individual can find a parcel number for a piece of property is through the Coconino County website. The county creates and records the parcel numbers for all of the City of Page properties. A link and video guide for the Parcel Viewer can be found on the Public Meetings page on the City website. https://cityofpage.org/government/public-meetings

I see that Vacation races that does the Half Marathon is not doing one in Page this year. Do we know why and is the city actively looking to replace with another one?

This marathon isn’t actually a city event. Vacation Races is a professional business that plans these races all over the southwest for profit. We provided security, which was charged to Vacation Races, and other than that the event was totally planned and promoted by that business. Currently the city doesn’t have another business that has shown interest in continuing the race.

Would it be possible for the city to put in bicycle lanes on either side of Lake Powell Blvd? It should be a safety concern rather than riding on the sidewalk or in traffic.

Over the last few years cities have been eliminating bike routes through the busiest streets of their communities. Streets like Lake Powell Blvd. have individuals that are turning left and right into our businesses and bikers can be hard to see. There are four lanes and a turning lane with drivers that are looking for different places to dine, visit, and shop. Distracted drivers often times are aware of vehicles but not cyclists. Because of these factors the city may consider lanes on different streets, but more than likely not the heavily traveled streets in our town.
