The newly remodeled Community Center restrooms have been closed for repairs for over a month and have been replaced with a single portable restroom located outside the parking lot entrance. The Community Center is an important resource, particularly for seniors, and some users have difficulty accessing a portable restroom. Is there a plan or timeline to reopen the permanent restrooms?
The repairs involve investigating decades of recurring plumbing issues that are not easily resolved. The recent improvements were completed per plan and per code; however, the underlying problem has required additional evaluation to ensure a long-term solution. Staff and contractors are diligently working to make the necessary corrections that will fully address an issue that has existed for many years. The temporary restroom will remain in place until the permanent facilities are fully operational.

I just saw a recent social media post about a data center being considered for development in the city of page. The post said on the website said that it will post more announcements after the holidays but I was wondering when will be the town meetings to oppose the proposal? I would like to write and present the environmental dangers of what the data center will bring to the southwest. Thank you.
Thank you for reaching out. As the process moves forward, opportunities for public input will be provided as part of the required re-zone process.
