Student volunteers from Page High School picked up over 600 pounds of litter on the Red Mesa Rim Trail on January 20, 2023. The volunteer event was organized by AVID Club Sponsor, Shania Valentine.
The volunteers included Chassidy Scott, Nyah Miller, Nia Valenzuela, Hannah Fowler, Tom Preller, Shania Valentine, Miriam Lassen, Hannah Lassen, Shaunicey Begay, Louise Portillo Santacruz, Marlana Clark and Emily Hawker.
Over 40,000 pounds of litter have been picked up on the Red Mesa Rim Trail by City of Page staff and volunteers over the past 2 years.
