City of Page Announces Sunset Country Music Festival Featuring Local Partnerships

The City of Page invites residents and visitors to kick off summer at the Sunset Country Music Festival on Saturday, May 30, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at John C. Page Memorial Park. This free, family-friendly event promises an evening of live country music, engaging activities, and a vibrant community atmosphere set against a stunning desert sunset.

Created to bring the community together, the festival will feature live performances from local trio Chopt Liver & Spam and regional favorite Nathan Dean & the Damn Band, delivering an evening of great country music.

A highlight of the evening will be the beer garden operated by Historic Brewing Company, debuting their new Lone Rock Summer Ale. Proceeds from the beer garden will support the important work of Glen Canyon Conservancy.

Crafted to reflect one of Northern Arizona’s most iconic landscapes, Lone Rock Summer Ale is a light, crisp brew designed for easy sipping and long days in the sun. This collaboration between Historic Brewing Company and Glen Canyon Conservancy highlights a shared commitment to protecting the natural beauty of the region while creating opportunities for the community to connect and give back.

“Millions of visitors enjoy Glen Canyon National Recreation Area every year to hike, boat, paddle, raft, or simply take in the view,” said Debbie Moses, Executive Director of Glen Canyon Conservancy. “Lone Rock stands as a symbol of those diverse recreational opportunities in the park. As the official philanthropic partner to Glen Canyon, we are grateful to collaborate with Historic Brewing Company to create this fun and meaningful way to support the park.”

Beginning in May 2026, Lone Rock Summer Ale will be available on tap and in 12-ounce cans sold in six-packs at Historic Brewing Company locations throughout Northern Arizona, as well as select distribution points in the Page area, including Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas. Ten percent of sales will directly support Glen Canyon Conservancy’s mission and educational programs.

“Places like Lone Rock just stick with you, especially if you’ve grown up visiting it over the years,” said John Kennelly, Co-Founder of Historic Brewing Company. “This beer is a way for us to celebrate that experience while supporting the work it takes to protect it. We’re proud to partner with Glen Canyon Conservancy and give people something they can enjoy that also gives back.”

This partnership goes beyond great beer. Both Historic Brewing Company and Glen Canyon Conservancy share a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a commitment to protecting the places that make Northern Arizona so special. Together, they hope to encourage others to enjoy

these landscapes responsibly while helping keep them clean, preserved, and thriving for years to come.
