CITY COUNCIL APPROVES APPOINTMENT AGREEMENT WITH FRANK MARBURY AS NEXT CITY MANAGER

Page, AZ – The Page City Council voted at its November 12 meeting to approve the appointment agreement with Frank Marbury as the next City Manager. With this action, the Council has completed a months-long search that began with a national recruitment led by the Duffy Group and drew interest from more than one hundred potential candidates.

Earlier in the process, the City Council reviewed six top applicants and invited four finalists to participate in in-person interviews and a community meet-and-greet. Resident input, combined with feedback from staff and the City Council, informed the final decision.

“Frank brings a strong blend of engineering expertise, municipal leadership, and experience working with state and federal partners,” said Mayor Steve Kidman. “We look forward to working with him as we continue to move Page forward.”

Marbury has more than thirty years of experience in local government, including leadership roles in the City of Kingman and the Town of Chino Valley. His approach to public service emphasizes transparency, relationship building, mentoring, and clear communication at the direction of the City Council.

He holds a master’s degree in public administration from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Auburn University.

The appointment agreement approved by the City Council authorizes the Mayor to sign on behalf of the City. Marbury’s start date is anticipated to be December 2.
