The City of Page and Navajo Nation signed a mutual aid agreement (MAA) on March 8, 2024, which allows cooperative law enforcement operations and voluntary mutual aid in the event of disasters or emergencies within each party’s jurisdiction.
The agreement was signed by Mayor Bill Diak and Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren at the signing ceremony held at Page City Council Chambers. Staff from the City of Page Police Department and Navajo Nation Police Department were also present.
